THE LOVE OF MY LIFE

MY DAD & MAMA (Mr. & Mrs Mwaheleja)

I am so happy, lucky, and grateful for my parents right now. I want to make sure that when I'm ready to lose my mind at them I have something to come back to and read to remind me just HOW lucky I am!

My mum and I have always gotten along pretty darn well, and as I get older the bond has gotten tighter and the laughter and joy between us becomes easier and easier. It took me a long time to realize it, but I got my sense of humor from my mother. It wasn't until my sisters and brothers were away at college and others moved home and I was home alone with my parents that I really figured out how cool my mum was. My mum and i had best time ever. I love you Mum to the bit.....

I am my Dad favorite, My dad and I have not had QUITE the same easy relationship as my mother and I. We are SO similar, we just end up rubbing each other raw after a certain amount of time together. But here's what I know. I know that my Dad loves me so much that he will fight with me and for me, cry with me and for me, and fiercely wants what is best for me. I will ALWAYS be her baby, and while that is difficult for me to handle (when he treats me like I'm 8!), I know that means he will always be protective and love me to bits. My Dad is really proud of me.
I can't fully express how happy and thankful I am. Even when I was at my lowest, I would remind myself of something the parents would say to me "To despair is to turn your back on God." I would try to remind myself of that and find the silver lining.
Thank you thank you my parent, i'm proud to be your Daughter!!!
